Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes 5 <br /> February 23, 1998 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Proposed Change to Traffic Rules- <br /> Correspondence was received from Chief Przybylek dated February 12, 1998 <br /> relative to proposed changes to the present Town traffic rules. It was noted <br /> that the main focus of parking complaints was on Wading Place Road <br /> because of the proximity to the Popponesset Spit. <br /> The matter was taken under advisement at this time, and will be further <br /> discussed as an agenda topic of the Board of Selectmen. <br /> FY 1999 Annual Bids: <br /> Greg Taylor, Director of Public Works submitted communication to the <br /> Board in a memo dated February 9, 1998 relative to fiscal year 1999 bids. <br /> Several categories of work were bid with possible two year extensions. <br /> Mr. Taylor recommended the Board accept the FY99 bids as follows; <br /> Class I Bituminous Concrete <br /> Equipment Rental -Recommend all but, 3a. 10 Wheel Trucks <br /> Trash Pickup <br /> Line Painting <br /> Fencing <br /> Guard Rail with Post <br /> Raising Catch Basins <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to accept the FY99 Annual Bids <br /> as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 40. <br />
