9 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> January 10,2000 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Shellfish Warden's Training Course: (continued) <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to place the above topic as an <br /> agenda item of the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to approve the transfer of <br /> $700 from the Waterways Improvement Fund to permit two <br /> Assistant Harbor Masters to attend the Shellfish Warden's <br /> Training Course as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Blythe. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Zoning for Home Fishing Occupation: <br /> The Board reviewed correspondence from the Building Inspector to <br /> Mr. Gerry Keen dated October 24, 1999 relative to the enforcement of <br /> Mashpee Zoning Bylaw, Section 174-251-6. <br /> It is the consensus of the Board to remit a letter to the Planning Board <br /> requesting review of the above referenced bylaw, and to complete the <br /> modernization of such bylaw for the Selectmen's review prior to the <br /> Town Meeting of October 2000. <br /> Correspondence from South Cape Beach State Park Advisory Committee: <br /> Correspondence was received from Morris Kirsner, Chairman of the <br /> South Cape Beach State Park Advisory Committee dated December 20, <br /> 1999 requesting advisement from the Board with respect to the transfer <br /> of the New Town Beach. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to not act on the proposed <br /> transfer of the New Town Beach. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> No action. <br />
