3 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> February 7, 2000 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Approval of Commonwealth Electric Plan No. 10265: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to place the above topic as an <br /> agenda item of the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Blythe. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> A hearing was held on this date with Commonwealth Electric for <br /> permission to install and maintain (2) poles on Sampsons Mill Road. <br /> The request of Commonwealth Electric was approved by the hearing <br /> officers with the use of a detail police officer. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Blythe to approve Commonwealth <br /> Electric Plan No. 10265 to install and maintain (2) poles on <br /> Sampsons Mill Road with the use of a detail police officer. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Harbormaster Request for Approval of New Harbormaster Building Plan: <br /> Perry Ellis,Harbormaster was present to request the Board approve the <br /> proposed plan for the Harbormaster building to be located at Little River. <br /> Funds exist within the budget for the 20x24 building, which has been <br /> approved by the Board of Appeals and Conservation Commission. <br /> The Department of Public Works will provide excavation and structural <br /> framework to assist with the project proposal. Additional support will be <br /> required through subcontract labor. <br /> The Board requested the Harbormaster to submit a detailed cost estimate <br /> of the intended project scope. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Blythe to authorize the Harbormaster to <br /> go forward with the temporary building plan as proposed for the <br /> construction of a new Harbormaster building pending receipt of <br /> detailed cost estimates. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
