9 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> August 7, 2000 <br /> Request from Boch Center—Two Day Liquor License Continued: <br /> T. K. Thompson, President and Executive Director of the Boch Center for <br /> the Performing Arts was present to requesi the Board approve a two-day <br /> liquor license,August 25 and 26, 2000 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. for <br /> the annual New England Jazz Festival under the concert tent at Mashpee <br /> Commons. <br /> Mr. Thompson indicated that he would be the responsible party for the <br /> liquor license application selling beer, wine and soft drinks. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve the request of the <br /> Boch Center for a two-day liquor license of August 25 and 26, 2000 as <br /> stipulated. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Approval of Fuel Card Program: <br /> An alternate method of providing fuel for all Town vehicles was presented <br /> to the Selectmen for consideration. To allow for greater flexibility and <br /> competitive value, a gas card would be assigned to each vehicle with a pin <br /> number for each driver to monitor miles, track vehicle efficiency, limit the <br /> type of fuel being consumed and save valuable time. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve and adopt the <br /> Wright Express Universal Fuel Card program as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Approval and Execution of Warrant for State Primary Election: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve and execute the <br /> Warrant for the State Primary Election to be held on Tuesday, <br /> September 19, 2000. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
