5 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> January 22, 2001 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Acceptance of Bid—DPW Front End Loader: <br /> The Director of Public Works recommended the Board approve the <br /> purchase of a 2001 Caterpillar Wheeled Loader, Model 924G, from <br /> Southworth-Milton for the low bid price of$70,631. It was noted that the <br /> CIP Committee for fiscal year 2001 recommended the equipment <br /> purchase. The matter was deferred until the next scheduled Selectmen's <br /> Meeting. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> New Seabwy Properties LLC—Aboveground Storage Tanks: <br /> Selectman Marsters stepped down for the above referenced hearing. <br /> Jim Stracqualursi, Director of Construction, New Seabury Properties was <br /> present to discuss the application for the relocation of aboveground <br /> storage tanks from the property identified as the Golf Course Maintenance <br /> Facility. <br /> It was noted that the application for license was signed-off by Sheldon <br /> Hamblin, Deputy Fire Chief. All other related information was in order <br /> for the Selectmen's approval. The Building Department also approved the <br /> application as stipulated and contained in the new construction of the golf <br /> maintenance building. <br /> Being no comment,the Board motioned to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Selectman Marsters absent. <br />
