7 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> January 22, 2001 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Hearing—Gone Tomatoes Continued: (continued) <br /> Being no further comment,the Board motioned to close the Public <br /> Hearing. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Selectman Leveille absent. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to remit communication to <br /> William Petralia, Manager, Mashpee Restaurant, Inc. d/b/a Gone <br /> Tomatoes recognizing the existing fire and building code violations, <br /> and further state that additional violations pertaining to the <br /> establishment would be considered a second offense. The motion <br /> granted the 60-day request of Mr. Petralia to schedule a Public <br /> Hearing on the new all alcoholic license application. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Selectman Leveille absent. <br /> Public Hearing_Michael's Grille Continued: <br /> Selectman Leveille stepped down for the above referenced Hearing. <br /> Selectman Cahalane presided, and opened the Public Hearing relative to <br /> the Wine and Malt Pouring License of Mary B. Mattia d/b/a Michael's <br /> Grille, 681 Falmouth Highway, Mashpee. <br /> It was noted that Michael's Grille has applied for renewal and has met all <br /> fee and inspection requirements. However, the Tax Collector has remitted <br /> notification that the referenced applicant has outstanding taxes due. <br /> The sum of$1,375 is due to the Town in liquor license renewal fees. The <br /> Selectmen, acting as the Licensing Authority for the Town may vote to <br /> revoke or suspend the liquor license. <br /> The applicant received certified notification of the Public Hearing. Mary <br /> Mattia was not in attendance. <br />
