10 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> January 22, 2001 <br /> COMMUNICATION AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Boys and Girls Club—Waiver of Fees: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to place the above topic on the <br /> Selectmen's agenda. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Correspondence was received from the Boys and Girls Club of Cape Cod, <br /> Inc. a non-profit organization dated January 22, 2001 requesting the Board <br /> waive fees associated to the use of the Transfer Station for the next thirty <br /> days. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve the request of the <br /> Boys and Girls Club, and waive the disposal fees of the Transfer <br /> Station for the next thirty days or for a sum not to exceed $300, under <br /> the direction of David J. Hendrick, Club President. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Peninsula Council re: Street Sweeping: <br /> The matter of the Peninsula Council's request for street sweeping was <br /> discussed. The Selectmen were in agreement of the concept and took the <br /> matter under advisement at this time. With definitive cost projections, the <br /> Selectmen agreed to consider placing the funds in the omnibus budget. <br />
