11 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> June 11, 2001 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Acceptance of Resignations—Cultural Council: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to accept the resignation of <br /> Joyce Mason and Doreen Guild from the Cultural Council with <br /> regret, effective June 30, 2001. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Appointments to Cultural Council: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to appoint the following to the <br /> Cultural Council: <br /> Sunny Merritt Ann Whitlow <br /> Joan Brown <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Pay Differential—Accounting: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Green to accept the pay differential of <br /> Doreen Guild,Assistant Town Accountant to Step 1 of the Town <br /> Accountant's scale from June 7, 2001 to June 25,2001. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Signage Request/Approval—Conservation: <br /> It was noted that Town Counsel has approved the Conservation <br /> Commission's request for signage on town-owned property. The posting <br /> will allow for violators to be subject to fines and authorize police <br /> enforcement. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve the(6) Signage request <br /> of the Conservation Commission as presented. <br /> Motions seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />
