12 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> June 11, 2001 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Coastal Waste Management—Container Hauling: <br /> Correspondence was received from Coastal Waste Management, Inc. <br /> dated May 18, 2001 relative to container hauling. Services for cardboard <br /> disposal and newspaper disposal were disclosed. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Green to accept the Container Hauling <br /> fees relative to cardboard and newspaper as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> The Selectmen agreed to review the Thursday closure as it relates to the <br /> 4`s of July holiday at the next scheduled meeting. <br /> Execution of Purchase & Sales Agreement—Prime View Trust: <br /> Execution of Order of Taking—Prime View Trust: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve and execute the <br /> Purchase& Sales Agreement and Order of Taldng of the Prime View <br /> Trust property for the sum of$550,000. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Request for License Fee Reimbursement: <br /> Correspondence was received from Ellen Bornstein dated April 24, 2001 <br /> requesting the Board return the license fee made payable to the Town of <br /> Mashpee in December 2000 for a MA License to Cary. Ms. Bornstein <br /> claims that she should be entitle to a refund of the license application fee <br /> because her husband died before the licensee was issued. <br /> Ms. Bornstein was advised that the Commonwealth of MA received one <br /> half of the license application fee and the Town of Mashpee could only <br /> consider a refund of$12.50. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to deny the request for License <br /> Fee Reimbursement. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: 2-2. No action. <br /> Selectman Taylor, Selectman Green in opposition. <br />
