Board of Selectmen 1 <br /> Minutes <br /> June 26,"2001 <br /> i <br /> Present: Selectman Leveille, Selectman Cahalane, Selectman Taylor, <br /> Selectman Marsters, Selectman Green <br /> Town Administrator Robert Whritenour <br /> Acting Town Administrator Joyce Mason <br />' Meeting convened at 7:10 p.m. <br /> Town Hall Conference Room #1. <br /> Public Comment <br /> Marjorie Katsoulis stated she wanted to update the Board of Selectmen to the fact that the <br /> Planning Board drawings for the signal light in the area of Donna's Lane and Job's <br /> Fishing Road do not indicate median strip, and She wanted to bring this to the attention of <br /> the Selectmen to avoid more delay in getting the signal light issue resolved. <br /> Marcia King provided a listing of surplus money that is available from county funds. <br /> Mashpee's share will be $30,140. It will be in cash—no strings attached. It is her <br /> understanding it will probably be a wire transfer, but this will be voted on at the end of <br /> July or beginning of August. She said only requirement is that the Town must let them <br /> know how the funds are spent since they track it. Also, Ms. King mentioned that this <br /> would probably be the last year county surplus funds will be distributed. They are talking <br /> about using the funds for building projects. <br /> On another topic, Marcia King mentioned that it is now possible to lease streetlights. She <br /> commented that Dennis is doing this and perhaps Mashpee would want to do an ROI <br /> analysis on leasing vs. buying.
