3 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> September 9, 2002 <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Cane Cod Commission—Community Development Plan: (continued) <br /> The"Initial Agreement" form is a noted requirement to secure funding for <br /> any consulting work and projects to be conducted under the Executive <br /> Order. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to endorse the Community <br /> Development Plan: Initial Agreement, and deny support of the Cape <br /> Cod Commission's proposal to develop a Long Range Public <br /> Transportation Plan for Cape Cod under the Community <br /> Development Plan program of Executive Order 418. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Selectman Cahalan absent. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> iCane Cod Technology Council—EDIC: <br /> The Cape Cod Technology.Council submitted a proposal to the Selectmen <br /> relative to the Economic Development and Industrial Corporation. <br /> The Selectmen agreed to defer action until Phase I of the study has been <br /> reviewed to form. The matter will appear as a future agenda topic of <br /> discussion. <br /> Early Retirement Discussion: <br /> The Personnel Administrator submitted a comparison of benefits <br /> associated to the Early Retirement Incentive Program in a memorandum <br /> addressed to the Selectmen dated August 29, 2002. <br /> The material reflects information regarding salary, longevity and vacation <br /> time of employee's who would be eligible for early retirement. The <br /> Treasurer/Tax Collector's correspondence relative to the program will be <br /> incorporated into the document for additional review at the next scheduled <br /> Selectmen's Meeting. <br />
