6 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> March 15, 2004 <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> MassHousing— Site Approval Application Notification: <br /> Selectman Marsters stepped down for discussion relative to the above <br /> referenced agenda topic. <br /> Correspondence was received from MassHousing dated March 10, 2004 <br /> relative to the application for site approval submitted by Douglas Storrs on <br /> behalf of Jobs/Whiting Trust and the proposed residential neighborhood <br /> development. <br /> The Town is requested to correspond to MassHousing with respect to any <br /> issues raised or anticipated in the Town's review of the application that <br /> consists of 88 newly constructed rental housing units. <br /> It was agreed that all applicable Town boards and committees would be <br /> requested to provide comment to the Chapter 40B proposal. Town <br /> Counsel will be requested to assist in the response draft on behalf of the <br /> Town of Mashpee. <br /> Army Corps of Engineers Permit—Data Tower: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to place the above topic on the <br /> Selectmen's agenda. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Late-filed correspondence was received from Susan Nickerson requesting <br /> the Selectmen join in on the amicus brief regarding the Army Corps of <br /> Engineers permit on the proposed data tower. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to join in on the amicus brief as <br /> referenced with the consent of Town Counsel, Patrick Costello. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />
