v ' <br /> 3 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> • July 12, 2004 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Board of Library Trustees—Recommendation for Appointment: <br /> David Burton, Chairman of the Board of Library Trustees was present to <br /> recommend the Selectmen certify Susan Cannavo for the position of <br /> Circulation Assistant. <br /> It was noted that five candidates were interviewed for the full-time, thirty- <br /> two hour per week position. Enclosed for the Selectmen's review was the <br /> Hiring Certification for the final candidate submitted by the Personnel <br /> Director. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to certify the recommendation of <br /> the Board of Library Trustees to appoint Susan Cannavo to the <br /> position of Circulation Assistant. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Myers. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Friends of Mashpee Public Library—Request for One Day Liquor <br /> License: <br /> Ted Nadolny, Vice-President of the Friends of the Mashpee Library was <br /> present to request the Board approve a one-day liquor license for the <br /> Library's fundraising auction on July 24, 2004. The event will be held at <br /> Captain Bellamy's Meeting Hall at the Popponesset Marketplace. <br /> The non-profit entity would serve beer and wine only during the hours of <br /> 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Myers to grant a one-day liquor license to <br /> the Friends of the Mashpee Library with the condition that liability <br /> coverage be required for the one-day event,Ted Nadolny manager of <br /> license to remain on site during the hours of the sale of liquor. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> It was agreed that in the future, all one-day liquor license requests would <br /> be required to obtain liability insurance. <br />
