4 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> • July 12, 2004 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Friends of the Mashpee Public Library—Request for One Day Liquor <br /> License: (continued) <br /> Motion made by Selectman Green to waive the standard $25 fee <br /> associated to the one-day event for the Friends of the Mashpee Public <br /> Library, a non-profit entity. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Recommendation for Appointment—Bylaw Review Committee: <br /> Correspondence was received from Juan Bacigalupi resigning from the <br /> Bylaw Review Committee as a result of his inability to serve adequately. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to accept the resignation of Juan <br /> Bacigalupi from the Bylaw Review Committee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> is VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> It was noted that Ruth Maney, a former member of the Charter <br /> Commission may be interested in serving on the committee. The <br /> Selectmen agreed to defer appointment to obtain a letter interest. The <br /> Board is also expected to receive a recommendation for a member at large <br /> to be appointed to the Bylaw Review Committee at the next meeting. <br /> Execution of Orders of Taking: <br /> Seabrook Village and Algonquin Avenue: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Green to approve and execute the Orders <br /> of Taking associated to Seabrook Village and Algonquin Avenue. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> The Order of Taking relative to the easement for the bike path on Great <br /> Neck Road South was not approved at this time. <br />
