Taylor <br /> <br />Absent: Selectman Cahalane <br /> <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Gottlieb at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Mashpee Town Hall, Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />Monday, November 14, 2016 Regular and Executive Session: <br /> <br />Motion made by Selectman Sherman to approve the Regular & Executive Session minutes of <br />Monday, November 14, 2016 as presented. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> <br />Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb, yes Selectman O’Hara, yes Selectman Cotton, yes <br /> Selectman Sherman, yes Opposed, none <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> <br />Public Comment: None at this time. <br /> <br />Review and approval of various applications: <br /> <br />Christmas Parade on December 10, 2016, Mashpee Chamber of Commerce: <br /> <br />In the absence of Mary Lou Palumbo, Thomas O’Neill was in attendance to request the Board approve a <br />Special Events Application for the 11th Annual Holiday Parade planned to be held on Saturday, <br />December 10, 2016 beginning at 5:30 p.m. The event is scheduled to commence in Mashpee Commons <br />at the Library and continue to South Cape Village. Mr. O’Neill indicated the parade is planned to be <br />bigger and better than ever. New floats are welcome to participate in the parade until December 7th. <br />This is a special evening event that draws a number of people to the Town of Mashpee. <br /> <br />Rodney C. Collins, Town Manager publicly expressed appreciation to the DPW, the Mashpee Pops <br />Committee, and the display sponsors and to Richard Halpern for the use of his bucket truck to assist in <br />the installation of the holiday lights at the Mashpee Rotary. The lighting display looks impressive and <br />this is great event for the Mashpee business community. <br /> <br />
