Dinghy racks are
planned to be installed on site, and mooring holders will soon receive a letter prohibiting the storage of
dinghies in the marsh areas. With the completion of this project the Town expects to move forward
with the Edward A. Baker Boat Ramp project at Pirates Cove after Labor Day.
With regards to the Great River Boat Ramp Improvement project the DPW Director indicated that a
new Chapter 91 license is required for the double ramp project. With permitting the project would
commence this fall. Performance standards require no disturbance to the salt marsh areas.
Construction details will be revealed soon and it is hopeful there would be no mitigation requirements.
