To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Town Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow money from time to time in anticipation of the revenue of the Financial Year, beginning on Janu- ary 1, 1944 and to issue a note or notes therefor payable in one year and to renew such notes or note that may be . given for a period of one year or less. Approved by Finance Committee. Unanimous vote, 25 votes Article 8. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Town Treasurer with the approval of the Selectmen, to extend for a period, or periods not exceeding in the„ aggregate six months beyond the maximum term pro- vided by law, any debt or debts incurred under this vote.' To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Town Treasurer with the approval of the Selectmen to extend for a period or periods not exceeding in the aggregate of six months beyond the maximum term pro- vided by law, for an original loan issued in anticipation of the revenue of the year 1943 under the provisions of Chapter 68 of the Acts of 1939. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Treasurer with the approval of the Selectmen to bor- row money for ordinary maintenance expenses and reve- nue loans, in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 49, Acts of 1933 as amended or take any other action thereon. Unanimous vote, 25 votes Article 11.- To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Treasurer with the approval of the Mashpee Advis- ory Commission to assign any tax title held by the Town. Approved by Finance Committee. Unanimous vote, 25 votes. Article 12. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Treasurer with the approval of the Mashpee Advisory Commission to sell at public auction any parcel of land or real estate, the Tax Title of which has been foreclosed by the town, also as a part of the article the Town re- tains rights to refuse any or all bids. To see if the Town will vote to continuer the Road Machinery fund, to which shall be predited alll receipts for the use and rental of the Road Machinery of Mashpee. The proceeds appropriated as voted by the Town, for road machinery purposes, or take any action in relation thereto. Approved by Finance Committee. Voted Article 14. To see if the Town will vote to give the Surveyor of Highways of the Town full and complete con- i trol and supervision of all works on the highways of the Town of Mashpee whether the same be general repairs or special work or construction and give him full control and charge of any and all read working machinery owned -'by the Town, or take any other action thereon. To see if the Town will vote to set aside the property which it acquired from Jacob Klein by tax lien foreclosure on Dec. 15, 1941 and which is located on the southerly part of Mashpee, as a Town landing, or take any other action thereon. To raise and appropriate the sum of $50. for surveying and any other expenses connected thereto. Approved by Finance Committee. Unanimous vote,` 31 votes Article 16. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Selectmen to contract with the Cape and Vineyard Electric Co. for the installation of one street light at the end of Collins Lane and to rear of the property of Cyn- thia Hammond and to raise and appropriate the sums of $25.00 for the same, or take any other action thereon. Approved by Finance Committee. Voted Article 17. To see if the town will vote to authorize the Selectmen to lay out a town road through the Old Giffords farm so-called running Southebsterly from route 28 to Giffords road in accordance with the General Laws or take any other action thereon. Approved by Finance Committee. Voted Article 18. To see if the town will vote to instruct: the Selectmen to have the Cape and Vineyard Electric Co. remove dimout fixtures from street lights or take any other action thereon. Approved by Finance Committee. Voted Article 19. To see if the town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds in the treasury, a sum of money for the purchase of war bonds or other bonds that are legal investments for savings banks in order to establish 'a post-war rehabilitation fund, in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 5. -Acts of 1943. To see if the town will vote to authorize the selectmen to contragt with the State Division of Marine Fisheries for finanpial aid in the planting of seed quahogs in Mashpee tidalaters and to raise and ap- propriate the sum of $150. Or the same, providing tha state co-operates or take any other action thereon. Approved by Finance Committee. Voted Article 24. To see if the Town will vote to instruct the Selectmen to have the Shellfish Constable to make annual report in writing, of the work on shellfish or take any action thereon. Approved by Finance Committee. Voted Article 25. To see if the town will authorize the Selectmen to control, regulate or prohibit the taking of eels by pots within the borders of the Town of Mashpee. To see If the town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $400. to purchase one fire truck tank and equipment from the Osterville fire district or take any other action thereon. To see if the town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $200. to employ fire patrol service cn days announced by the Director of the Forestry to be of high fire hazard under'Chapter 688, Acts of 1941 or take any action thereon.
