<br />BARNSTABLE, SS. To either of the Constables of the
<br />Town of Mashpee, GREETINGS:
<br />In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
<br />you are directed to notify and summons the Inhabitants
<br />of the town of Mashpee qualified to vote in elections to ,
<br />meet at the Legion Hall Mashpee, on Monday the 4th '
<br />day of March next at Eight O'clock A.M. for the follow-
<br />ing purposes. To act on the articles contained in the fol-
<br />lowing warrant. Also to meet at the town hall March
<br />4th the same day (the polls to be open from 1 o'clock
<br />i P.M. and may be closed at five P.M.) to bring in their
<br />votes for the election of the town Officers as adopted by
<br />the town.
<br />Article 1. To choose all other necessary Town Offi-
<br />cers which are not elected under the Australian Ballot
<br />System. }

<br />the Town Treasurer with the approval of the Selectmen„
<br />to barrow money from time to time in anticipation of
<br />the revenue of the Financial year, beginning on Janu-
<br />ary 1, 1946 and to issue a note or notes therefor payable
<br />in one year and to renew such note or notes that may be
<br />given for a period of one year or less.
<br />VOTED: That the Town Treasurer, with the
<br />approval of the Selectmen, be and hereby is
<br />authorized
<br />to borrow money from time to time in anticipation of the revenue of the Financial year, beginning on Janu-

<br />' Article 7. To see if the Town will vote to authorize
<br />the Treasurer with the approval of the Mashpee Advisory
<br />Commission to assign any tax titles held by the Town.

<br />I Article 8. To see if the Town will vote to authorize
<br />the Selectmen to contract with the Cape & Vineyard
<br />Electric Co. for the installation of three street lights on
<br />Quasbnet Road at points selected by the Selectmen, also
<br />one street light on Lovell's Lane located near the resi-
<br />dence of Emeline Lopes, also one street light on the
<br />Meeting House Road located near the residence of Ed-
<br />win White, and one street light on Collins Lane located
<br />near the Cynthia Hammond property, and to raise and
<br />appropriate the sum of $125.00 for the same, or take any
<br />ether action thereon.

<br />Article 9. To see if the Town will vote that the
<br />Collector of Taxes be elected for a term of three years.

<br />Article 10. To see if the Town wili vote to raise
<br />and appropriate a sum not to exceed One Thousand Dol-
<br />lars ($1000.) to be paid to the Cape Cod Hospital for the
<br />establishment and maintenance of a free bed in the Hos-
<br />pital, in accordance with section 74 of Chapter III of
<br />the General Laws, or take any action in relation thereto,
<br />and act fully thereon.

<br />Article 11. To see if the Town will vote to raise and
<br />appropriate, or transfer from unappropriated available
<br />funds in the treasury, a sum of money for Chapter 81
<br />Highway Maintenance, or take any action thereon.
