<br />ARTICLE 8A. To see if the Town will approve additional compensation of five
<br />percent (5%) of each employee's salary, applying to all full time and part time employees
<br />covered by the Personnel By -Laws. This five percent (5%) shall be in addition to the
<br />salary received by each employee as scheduled in Section 7 of the Personnel By -Laws and
<br />raise and appropriate the sum of .........thousand dollars therefor. Submitted by
<br />Personnel Board.
<br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 8A to read: "To see
<br />if the Town will approve additional compensation of $500.00 pro rated over the
<br />fiscal year 1976-77 to all full-time employees covered by the Salary Administration
<br />Plan and vote to raise and appropriate, or take from available funds,the sum of
<br />$13,000 for the above employees." Motion made and seconded to accept Article 8A
<br />as amended. Vote carried.
<br />' ARTICLE 8B. To see if the Town will vote to employ three (3) fulltime men
<br />for a maintenance unit for the Town and vote to raise and appropriate or take from
<br />available funds the sum of $22,500.00 for wages ($7,500.00 each) for the above
<br />employees, or take any other action thereon. Submitted by the Board of Selectmen.
<br />ACTION: A motion was made to raise and appropriate $13,770.40 for the
<br />employment of two (2) fulltime men for a maintenance unit for the Town under the
<br />direct supervision of the Board of Selectmen. It was moved and seconded to accept
<br />Article 8B as amended. Vote carried.
<br />ARTICLE 9. To see if the Town will vote to make the following changes in
<br />the October 27, 1975 Revised Edition of the By -Laws of the Town of Mashpee:
<br />Chapter I, Article 1, Section 10. --- "The Selectmen may insert in the Warrant
<br />for the Annual Meetings all articles and/or petitions signed by ten or more legal
<br />voters, which shall have been delivered to the Selectmen, or either of them, or
<br />the Town Clerk, on or before the second Monday in March each year."
<br />by deleting the words "second Monday in March" and by inserting "first Monday in
<br />February" in place thereof. Submitted by the Board of Selectmen.
<br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to accept Article 9 as read. Vote carried.
<br />ARTICLE 10. To see if the Town will vote to make the folowing changes in
<br />the October 27, 1975 Revised Edition of the By -Laws of the Town of Mashpee:
<br />Chapter I, Article 1, Section 1B -- "All Town Reports from each department,
<br />elected or appointed officials, shall be printed or typewritten aid submitted to
<br />the Selectmen or Town Clerk on or before the second Monday of March in each year."
<br />by deleting the word " March" and by inserting the word "February" in place thereof.
