361 <br />Annual Town Meeting Page 17 May 4, 1976 <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to accept Article 72 as amended: "To see <br />if the Town will vote to establish the position of full-time Conservation and <br />Wildlife Officer in accordance with Section 7C of Salary Administration Plan." <br />Vote carried. <br />ARTICLE 73. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take from <br />available funds the sum of $ to be used as salary for the Conservation and <br />Wildlife Officer, or take any other action thereon. Submitted by the Conservation <br />Commission. <br />Recommended by Finance Committee to Raise and Appropriate $8,049.60. <br />ACTION: Moved and seconded to take from available funds the sum of <br />$8,049.60 to be used as salary for the Conservation and Wildlife Officer. Vote <br />carried. <br />ARTICLE 74. To see if the Torn will vote to raise and appropriatetor take <br />from available funds the sum of $1,750.00 to establish an expense account for the <br />Conservation and Wildlife Officer or take any other action thereon. Submitted by <br />the Conservation Commission. <br />Not recommended by Finance Committee; see budget expense account. <br />ACTION: Moved and seconded to raise and ppropriate $700.00 to establish an <br />expense account for the Conservation.and Wildlife Officer. Vote carried. <br />ARTICLE 75. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer <br />from available funds the sum of $38,000.00 to determine the pollution abatement, the <br />sources of septic tank and cesspool sanitary wastes into the Great Ponds and Inland <br />Waterways of Mashpee. Submitted'by the Board of Health. Submitted by.the Waterways <br />Committee. Submitted by the Conservation Commission. Submitted by the Board of <br />Selectmen. <br />Recommended by Finance Committee to Raise and Appropriate $10,000.00. <br />' ACTION: Moved and seconded to raise and appropriate the sum of $10,000.00. <br />Vote carried. <br />ARTICLE 76. To see if the Town will <br />a full-time Juvenile Officer in the Police <br />thereon. Submitted by Mashpee Citizens. <br />Not Recommended by Finance Committee. <br />vote to instruct the Selectmen to provide <br />Department or take any other action <br />ACTION: Moved and seconded to Indefinitely Postpone. Vote carried. <br />ARTICLE. 77. To see if the Torn will vote to raise and appropriate or take from <br />available funds the sum of $1,200.00 to purchase a Radar Speed Monitor, or take <br />any other action thereon. If approved, this item is 100% reimbursable by State/ <br />Federal funds. Submitted by Mashpee Citizens. <br />Not Recommended by Finance Committee. <br />ACTION: Moved and seconded to Indefinitely Postpone Article 77. Vote carried. <br />ARTICLE 78. To see if the Torn will vote to raise and appropriate or take from <br />available funds the sum of $10,000 to initiate construction of a breakwater system <br />made to preserve the barrier beach and entrance to Popponesset Bay. Submitted <br />by the Waterways Committee. <br />Recommended by Finance Committee to Raise and Appropriate. <br />ACTION: Moved and seconded to raise and appropriate the sum of $10,000.00. <br />Vote carried. <br />ARTICLE 79. To see if the Town will vote to add the following Town By -Laws to <br />Chapter III, Article VII, sections to be numbered appropriately, relating to <br />regulation of the use of tidal waterways: <br />
