432 <br />Annual Town Meeting -15- May 1, 1978 <br />ARTICLE 22. To see if the Town will vote to approve the transfer <br />of the care, custody, management and control of the Samuel G. <br />Davis School from the School Committee to the Board of Selectmen <br />for a two-year period expiring June 30, 1980, and for successive <br />two-year periods thereafter as so voted by the School Committee <br />for each such two-year period. (Submitted by the Board of <br />Selectmen) <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to accept Article 22 as <br />amended: <br />"To see if the Town will authorize the transfer of the care, <br />custody, management and control of all or any part of the Samuel <br />G. Davis School property and buildings from the School Committee <br />to the Board of Selectmen for a two-year period expiring June 30, <br />1980 and for successive two-year periods thereafter, as so voted <br />by the school committee, to be used by the Board of Selectmen for <br />Municipal Office and Administration usage." <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />ARTICLE 23. To see if ;the Town will vote to raise and appro- <br />priate or take from available funds the sum of $25,000, or any <br />other sum, to be applied to the Maintenance Expense Account for <br />the additional expenses in operating the Sa muel G. Davis School <br />as the Town Hall, or take any other action thereon. (Submitted <br />by the Board of Selectmen) <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 23 to <br />read: "to raise and appropriate $25,000." Motion carried. <br />ARTICLE 24. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- <br />priate or take from available funds the sum of $ , or any <br />other sum, for three (3) portable radios, or take any other ' <br />action thereon. (Submitted by the Police Department) <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 24 to <br />read: To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the <br />sum of $3,000.00 for three (3) portable radios. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />ARTICLE 25. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- <br />priate or take from available funds the sum of $956.00, or any <br />other sum, for the purchase of a Resusci Anne Recorder for the <br />C.P.R. Program, or take any other action thereon. (Submitted by <br />the Civil Defense Director) <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 25 to read: <br />To see if the Town will vote to take from Anti -Recession <br />Funds the sum of $956.00 for the purchase of a Resusci Anne <br />Recorder for the C.P.R. Program. <br />Motion carried. <br />ARTICLE 26. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- <br />priate or take from available funds the sum of $1,000, or any o <br />other sum, to improve the river bed and prevent erosion of the <br />Museum parking lot and erosion of culvert beneath Route #130, or <br />take any other action thereon. (Submitted by the Herring Warden) <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 26 to <br />read: To see if the Town will vote to take from the Anti - <br />Recession Funds the sum of $1,000 to improve the river bed and <br />prevent erosion of the Museum parking lot and erosion of culvert <br />beneath Route #130. <br />M6ti6n.carried. <br />ARTICLE 27.
