442, <br />TOWN OF MASHPEE <br />SPECIALaTOWNcMEETING WARRANT <br />November 15, 1978 <br />THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS <br />Barnstable. ss: <br />To the Constable of the Town of Mashpee Greetings: <br />In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts,.you are <br />hereby directed to notify*and summons the inhabitants of the Town <br />of Mashpee who are qualified to vote in the elections to meet at <br />Mashpee Town Hall, Great Neck Road, Miashpee, on Wednesday, Novem- <br />ber 15, 1978; at 7:00 p.m., for the following, purposes: <br />To act on ;the articles contained in'the Yollowing'warrant: <br />Moderator Frank Leonardi called the meeting to order at <br />7:29 p.m. A quorum was present. Tellers were Mary Potter,and <br />Eleanor Thaxton. A moment of silence was observed in memory of <br />Elizabeth Morse. <br />ARTICLE 1. To see if the Town will vote to amend the action <br />taken at Annual Town Meeting on May 8, 1978, Article 19, by <br />authorizing the sum of $62,600.00 to be transferred from the <br />widening and improvement of Old Barnstable/Falmouth Road to the <br />cost of the construction of the Mashpee Police and Fire Stations, <br />or take any other action thereon. <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to accept Article 2 as <br />read. Motion carried. <br />ARTICLE 3. To see if the Town will vote to amend Chapter III, <br />Article V of the By -Laws of the Town by adding thereto the follow- <br />ing: <br />
