To see if the <br />Town will vote <br />�9 <br />' <br />funds a <br />sum of money to be <br />v <br />Special Town Meeting <br />-2- <br />May 1, 1978 <br />or take any other <br />Article 4 continued <br />(Submitted by the <br />Veteran's <br />ACTION: Motion made <br />and seconded that <br />$600.00 be taken from <br />the Anti -Recession Fund & <br />applied to the Bond <br />Copy Machine <br />Account. Motion carried. <br />$3,500.00 to be <br />applied to the Veteran's <br />ARTICLE 5. To see if the <br />Town will vote to <br />take from available <br />funds the sum of $5,000.00 <br />or any other sum, <br />to be applied to <br />the Maintenance Expense Account <br />or take any <br />other action thereon. <br />(submitted by the Board of <br />Selectmen) <br />ACTION: Motion made <br />and seconded to transfer from the Anti- <br />' <br />Recession Fund the sum of <br />$5,000.00. Motion <br />carried. <br />ARTICLE 6. To see if the Town will vote to take from available <br />funds a sum of money to be applied to the Fire Department Expense <br />Account or take any other action thereon. (Submitted by the Fire <br />Department) <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to transfer from the Anti - <br />Recession Fund the sum of $4,000.00 to be applied to the Fire <br />Department Expense Account. Motion carried. <br />ARTICLE 7. To see if the Town will vote to take from available <br />funds a sum of money to be applied to the Fire Department Wage <br />Account, or take any other action thereon. (Submitted by the <br />Fire Department) <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to take from ;the Anti -Re- <br />cession Fund the sum of $3,000.00 to be applied to the Fire Depart- <br />ment Wage Account. Motion carried. <br />ARTICLE 8. To see if the Town will vote to take from available ' <br />funds a sum of money to be applied to the Highway Department <br />Expense Account or take any other action thereon. (Submitted by <br />the Highway Department) <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to take from the Anti - <br />Recession Fund the sum of $3,500.00 to be applied to the Highway <br />Department Expense Account. Motion carried. <br />ARTICLE 9. To see if the Town will vote to take from available <br />funds a sum of money to be applied to the Insect Pest Control <br />Expense Account or take any, other action thereon. (Submitted by <br />the Board of Selectmen) <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 9 to read <br />as follows: To see if the Town will vote to take from available <br />funds the sum of $1,285.00 to be applied to the insect pest con- <br />trol expense account for the express purpose of payment of an <br />outstanding debt to R. F. Morse & Son, Incorporated for repairs <br />to the pump sprayer equipment and motor, said indebtedness having <br />been incurred in excess of $500.00 in the current fiscal year. <br />Motion carried. <br />ARTICLE <br />10. To see if the <br />Town will vote <br />to take from available <br />' <br />funds a <br />sum of money to be <br />applied to the <br />Veteran's Benefit <br />Account <br />or take any other <br />action thereon. <br />(Submitted by the <br />Veteran's <br />Agent) <br />ACTION: Motion made <br />and seconded to <br />transfer from the Anti - <br />Recession Fund the sum of <br />$3,500.00 to be <br />applied to the Veteran's <br />Benefit <br />Account. Motion carried. <br />ARTICLE 11. To see if the Town will vote to take from available <br />funds a sum of money to be applied to the Snow and Ice Account <br />
