Special Town Meeting -9- November 15, 1978 <br />ARTICLE 28. To see if the Town will vote to accept the pro- <br />visions of Chapter 90, Section 20C of the Massachusetts <br />General Laws, as amended from time to time. <br />ACTION: Moved and seconded that Article 28 be accepted <br />as read. Motion carried. ' <br />ARTICLE 29. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from <br />.available funds the sum of $1,000, or any other sum, to be <br />' applied to the Police Officer's Off -Duty Compensation Re- <br />volving Account or take any other action thereon. <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 29 to <br />read: To see if the Town will vote to transfer from the Over- <br />lay Surplus Account the sum of $1,000 to be applied .to the <br />Police Officer's Off -Duty Compensation Revolving Account. <br />Motion carried. <br />ARTICLE 30. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from <br />available funds a sum of money to be applied to the Police <br />Department Expense Account for the purpose of leasing data <br />processing equipment and related operational expenses, or <br />take any other action thereon. <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article .30 to <br />read: To see if the Town will vote to transfer from Revenue. <br />Sharing the sum of $850.00 to be applied to the Police Depart- <br />ment Expense Account for the purpose of leasing data process- <br />ing equipment and related operational expenses. Motion carried. <br />ARTICLE 31. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from <br />available funds a sum of money to be applied to the Fire <br />Department Wage Account or take any other action thereon. <br />' ACTION: Motion'made and seconded to amend Article 31 as <br />followss To see if the Town will vote to transfer the balance <br />of $5,037.38 Antirecessional Fiscal Assistance Title II funds <br />to be applied to the Fire Department Wage Account. Motion <br />carried. <br />ARTICLE 32. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from <br />available funds a sum of money to install a well and pump and <br />storage tank system for the Mashpee Fire Department, or take <br />any other action thereon. <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 32 to <br />read: To see if the Town will vote to transfer from ;the Muni- <br />cipal Equipment Account the sum of $1,050.00 to install a <br />well and pump and storage tank system for the.Mashpee.Fir.e <br />Department. Motion carried. <br />ARTICLE 33. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from <br />available funds a sum of money to be applied to the Fire De- <br />partment Expense Account or take any other action thereon. <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 33 to <br />read: To see if the Town will vote to transfer from Revenue <br />' Sharing the sum of $5,542.00 to be applied to the Fire Depart- <br />ment Expense Account. Motion carried. <br />ARTICLE 34. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from <br />available funds the sum of $1,539.40 to the Full -Time Fire- <br />fighters Account or take any other action thereon. <br />ACTION: Moved and seconded that Article 34 be Indefi- <br />nitely Postponed. Motion carried. <br />ARTICLE 35. To see if the Town will vote to amend the Town <br />of Mashpee By -Laws, Chapter III, Article VI, Section 6 by <br />
