Town of Mashpee <br />16 Great Neck Road North <br />Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 <br />Mashpee Town Hall — Tuesday, November 17, 2015 <br />Assessor's Office — 6:00 PM <br />Board Members Present: Also Present: <br />Sheldon Holzer, Chairman Jason Streebel, Director of Assessing <br />Paul Andrews, Vice Chairman <br />Gregg Fraser, Clerk <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Holzer called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS — No public comment <br />* + • u <br />BOA Public Session — Wednesday, September 16, 2015 <br />Paul Andrews made a motion to accept the Public Session minutes of September 16th, 2015 as <br />presented. Gregg Fraser seconded the motion. Roll Call Vote: Sheldon Holzer, yes; Paul <br />Andrews, yes; Gregg Fraser, yes. The motion was approved by a vote of (3-0-0). <br />Blind Exemption Application for William Heilbronn, 8 Shields Road <br />It was confirmed that the applicant became legally blind after the statuatory date of 7/11/2015. <br />Gregg Fraser made a motion to deny since the applicant did not qualify. Paul Andrews seconded <br />the motion. Roll Call Vote: Sheldon Holzer, yes; Paul Andrews, yes; Gregg Fraser, yes. The <br />motion was approved by a vote of (3-0-0). <br />Board members signed the decision. <br />Release of Classified Recreational Land Tax Liens on 213 Sampsons Mill Rd., Mashpee <br />Wampanoag Tribe. <br />Jason Streebel provided a brief history of the property, totaling just over 30 acres, known formerly <br />as Maushop or the Horse Farm and owned by several Tribal members. An exemption was <br />previously received on the property classifying it for recreational use, but in 2010 it was discovered <br />that it was not being used as exempted, so the exemption was lost in 2011. Mr. Streebel <br />referenced the Five Year Lookback for roll back taxes or right of first refusal for the Town to <br />purchase should the property transfer title. The property recently transferred title to the Department <br />
