CONSERVATION BOARD MEETING Wednesday, January 30, 1980 Meeting was called to order shortly after 7:30 p.m. Present: Pauline F. DeLory, Chairperson Dorothy G. Studley, Vice Chairperson Barbara Sloane Charles Buckingham Wayne Tavares Richard Cohen Kenneth Pecci The Board welcomes its two new members, Richard Cohen and Kenneth Pecci. Handbooks were given to them. Both have been sworn in. SE43-112 Bruce Fulton Pauline: (Proceeded to read Public Hearing Notice) In reference to that we did not have auorum. We had a Continuance, which is being held tonight. (Notice of Intent is read Bruce: The dock that I would like to construct is exactly like the other dock two lots down. It is 30 feet long and 6 feet wide using pilings three ten foot sections getting out into the water plus or minus 3 feet deep. Charles: They will have no floats? Bruce: There will be a float down the end but that will be taken out in the winter. Barbara: How big is the float? Bruce: The same size as everyone else's. Charles: Will you have it running parallel with the shore? Bruce: Yes, with the shore. It will be exactly like the dock that was built on Lot 29. Barbara: Pauline, did we find out about that conservation easement? Pauline: No, I have not got a copy as yet. Bruce: This conservation easement -- that is a 20 foot easement right here. I assume that I am the owner of that seeing that they are taxing me right to the water line. Pauline: They are taxing you? Bruce: On the lot plan, you can measure the 92 feet from. the corner and it goes right to the water. I went over to the Assessor's office this past week and talked to them about that because I had to fill out a form to send to the Army Corps of Engineers and also DEQE and one of the questions was: "Who owns the low land from what you are going to propose to do?". That means who owns from the low tide up to the shore. I had to fill that in so I asked them who it was and they said that I am the one who owns it.
