CONSERVATION BOARD MEEPING Wednesday, February 27, 1980 Present: 4' Pauline F. DeLory, Chairperson Dorothy G. Studley, Vice Chairperson Barbara Sloane Wayne Tavares Richard Cohen Kenneth Pecci The meeting was called to order at 7:34 p.m. S90-114 Mr. John Lynch III Paul Peters Agency, Inc. Pauline: Reads public hearing notice. Mr. John Lynch plans to add family room and deck to existing structure within 100 feet of Ashumet Pond in accordance with plans on file with the commission. Would you please present to the board. Mike Tenaglia: The house will be used quite a bit for entertaining purposes. The living room that is in there now really isn't big enough to do that adequately. Re- ferring to a picture and the plan -- This room here is kind of like a sunroom now and the purpose is to basically square the front of it off to the rest of this and it will look pretty much the same as what this does all the way across. On the plan, this is what is existing here now and my next thing to do is basically carry it across there. Dick: Are you going to have a deck on there? Mike T. : Yes. Barbara: It has to be on the plan. You can put it down on the original you leave with us and initial it. Pauline: Also, a copy has to go to DEQE because they have a file on everything. Mike T. : That doesn't mean that we have to re-apply? Pauline: No, as long as you re-submit. Mike T. t Okay, fine. (Proceeded to draw it in on the original plan) Dick: Are you making the deck the length of the house? Mike T. : Yes -- but there is a big tree which we do not want to take down. There is a problem of only about ten feet in between there. We want to give it leeway to grow so it will probably only be 8 -- 82 feet wide. Paulinet What do you plan to have this on? Mike: This will be on a four foot block foundation which is basically what is here now. This is not a full basement= it is just a crawl space.
