-2
Barbara: Do you have any steps going down to the water?
Mike: Off the deck (pointing t6the picture) we are going to put one set here and one
set on this side too.
John: There is a set of stairs there now, but there is no deck. We are just going to
keep the same set of stairs.
Dick: That is a sunroom on the end of that house now with the stairs that you are talk-
ing about?
John: Right.
Pauline: Does the board have any other questions?
Jahn: What we are trying to do is open up that one room to make it just a bigger room.
Barbara: Okay. You are not going to be 96 feet from the water -- you are going to be
87 feet?
Mike: Well, 96 feet here actually goes to the well.
Dick: How far is the existing house away from the water now?
Mike: Fifty-three feet and that was measured to where the high water mark is.
-. Barbara: You have the deck on the notice of intent but not on the plan. How many feet
are we talking about by the time we get this?
Mike: There will be posts on the deck= there won't be any foundation or anything of that
sort.
John: We are talking another eight more feet out.
Mike: Another eight feet -- so 45.
Kent And the stairs are coming off the side of the deck?
Mike: Yes. So, in other words, the deck will be out here 8 feet and will be extended out
here (pointing to plan) a few feet. It will be exactly the same thing as you see on here.
Barbara: You are not considering putting in a dock, are you?
John: No. Any boat we will use would be just a small boat.
Pauline: Because, you would have to re-file and have another hearing for any form of pier
or dock. Any other questions by the board?
Barbara: You are not going to do any digging, are you?
Mike: Just for the posts.
Pauline: Are you going to do that by hand?
