Mr. O'Connor: Thank you very much. If I need any, I will let you know. BUDGET Pauline: I went over the monies from 1978 - 1979. Appropriations: we had $558 for expenses and $500 for wages with receipts and transfers bringing it to a total of $535• That is all we got from the Finance Committee last year. We extended in 1978, $99.52 for expenses= 1979, $194.32 -- this is up to December 30. What I estimated the expenses at is $1,010. The breakdown is as follows: Postage and certified mail $1001 Duesfor Conservation Law Foundation, MACC, etc. $1001 Telephone - $501 Meetings, Laws, Seminars, etc. - $4201 Books, Copies, References, Laws - $140= Technical Services - $200. Totaling $1,010. Now for Wages - we have $500 with a transfer of $35. Expenditures for 1978 - $146.61. In the middle of the year we hired Judy Sciarillo for our Secretary. We spent $133.52 up to the end of December. I figure on approximately 30 hours per month for Marilyn Farren, Secretary, at $3.87 an hour and 360 hours for the year would be $1,393.20. Also, we are asking for $2,500 to be added to the selectmen's legal engineering account for our legal services. GOOD NEWS Pauline: At last Wednesday's selectmeds' meeting, a motion was made that Ames be appointed as Natural Resource Officer. We have a copy of the job description which I will make a copy and make sure the Personnel Board has it. Pauline: Also, I have a form letter that Dorothy wrote which I found in my file at home on Instructions for Preparing Hearings on Notices of Intent. I am thinking of drawing up a. regulation form letter that I can send out to people.
