-5-
,aduano's Order of Conditions, cont.
i8, Any water drained from swimming pool shall be removed from the site.
19.' Existing riprap shall be built up to the height of the top of the present bank as
shown on revised plan dated March 28, 1980.
Pauline: Does the board feel that the pier should be 146 feet long including floats?
Wayne: According to the plan, that is the way it has to be built.
Barbara: Should they come in to re-file for steps?
No decision was made.
David McKay
River Road
David: I would like to build a house on River Road and the house is going to be about
200 Peet from the river. Tonight I was applying for a variance to put it a little closer
to the road and one of the abutters brought up the fact that there is a spring on my land.
Dorothy: We don't have anything to do with springs.
Barbara: All we have to do with is within 100 feet of water body.
Pauline: Is it wetland -- marsh area? Is it boggy, spring area?
Barbara: Wet or damp?
David shows the plan of what it used to be. It used to be a pond and the man that owned
the whole area, for some reason, dug out a ditch so that the pond would drain. This is
the man that objected. (Shows where he will put his house) He was telling me at this
variance meeting that I was going to have problems and I didn't understand that?
Ken: What is his objection?
David: He thinks the cesspool is going to flow down into this ditch and go through his
lot.
Ken: How far is your cesspool from that ditch?
David: I can put it 120 feet or 130 feet.
Pauline: The law is in the town of Mashpee 75 feet; so you are covered. Have you been to
the Board of Health yet?
David: Well, I have had my perk test and the Board of Health said nothing about it. Shows
copy of perk test.
