-4-
Charles: I can't see it the way it is drawn and if you don't mind, I will amend'it.
Pauline: Yes and have Atty. Smith initial that amended drawing.
Atty. Smith put his initials on the drawing.
Pauline: Ken is going out with the Harbor Master and if the soundings draw up dif-
ferently than that, that could be something else.
Wayne: Are we going to take it under advisement? What are we doing?
Pauline: Yes, because it will have to be an amended Order of Conditions so you don't
appeal or if you care to appeal . . .
Atty. Smith: No, we don't want to appeal.
Pauline: You don't want to appeal because DEQE could say no pier.
Atty. Smith: I am not that familiar with them.
Pauline: I am.
Atty. Smith: We are trying to get a minimum amount of headache for everybofly.
Pauline: What conservation is is for protection of everybody that lives there.
We will get an amended Order of Conditions out to you.
Atty. Smith: The vote is affirmative and I can tell Mr. Kariotis that tomorrow.
Wayne. Is it affirmative?
Charles: It is for me.
Pauline: We can amend this and DEME can come in and say, no. You realize that?
Atty. Smith: Yes.
Pauline: Or any ten abutters can appeal it, right?
Atty. Smith: Yes, but I just wanted to give Mr. Kariotis a general consensus.
Charles: The two foot mark is the only thing that bothers me.
Bruce Fulton: I am not one to talk because I put a pier in on Lot 31. I have about
a half a dozen other lots over there on the water and I am not going to look for any
more piers. I think in four years from now people will all be sorry where we have
60 foot long things sticking out every 30 feet.
Pauline: That is why we are having town council look into this.
Ken: You need the town by-law, which there isn 't.
Charles: I ,just wish from the beginning that we would have been able to say no docks
and have something; in b=ck of us for us to be able to say that. I just don't think
that the Conservation Commission could have made that sort of ruling.
