-2-
SF113-148, cont.
line comes in. I am not sure, Mr. Chairman, that I really need to say anything else
unless you have some questions.
Ken: Does anybody have any questions?
Charles: Actually, your foundation will be 99 feet.
Mr. Spohr: Well, if you want to be precise, let's see. I have a scale. In other
words may be this 91 feet isn't correct?
Charles: No, I am saying. that it is actually a deck corner that comes to 91 feet,
Mr. Spohr: Yes, sir. Whether this deck is considered and to be honest about this,
it does get about 91 feet to the deck and it is just a little more than 100 feet to
the house. Rather than take any chances, we didn't ask for a determination, we just
filed.
Wayne: The house has not been started?
Mr. Spohr: Oh, no, sir. Absolutely not. I was there on Monday and put two more
stakes out. They seem to disappear and I put some more out in case the commission
wanted to go there and check it.
Pauline: Is there a house in that area that is being built, too?
Mr. Spohr: Yes, Mrs. DeLory, there is in that cul-de-sac. Let me just get orienta-
ted. Shows where there is an existing house and where there is a house under con-
struction. Lot numbers don't match assessors numbers.
Charles: Is that lot 169 a lot conveyed to New Seabury?
Mr. Spohr: Yes, sir. Let me just be sure. Mrs. Green is the lady I talked with.
New Seabury owns Lot 176 supposedly and 176 is 169.
Charles: Is the deck going to be supported on piles?
Mr. Spohr: Yes, sir, it is. It will be on concrete solitudes. It is a long deck.
It is the whole length of the house. This is because the view is back here.
Wayne: Are these all existing grades, Mr. Spohr?
Mr.. Spohr: Yes, sir, they are all mean sea level elevations.
Wayne: How much fill, if any, will you bring into this lot?
Mr.. SDohr: We don't intend to bring in any at all. What we take out for the founda-
tion, we would like to put a little around the foundation to hide that. For the
record, if you would approve the thing, it could be with the stipulation that we don't
bring in any fill. This would be perfectly acceptable.
Wayne: Two feet of the foundation would be showing?
Mr. Spohr: I think that is the most that should be showing for it to look good.
Incidentally, I should say this: the house plans have not only been approved by the
building commission but also by that architectural review board and they are a little
hard to get along, with sometimes.
