-3-
SE43-148, cont.
Mr. Spohr: This house was designed by Claude Miquelle. We have a letter here
from Claude Miauelle authorizing us to make certain changes to his design. He
has approved it if you would like to see the letter.
Charles: Are those authorizations for height or elevation of any kind?
Mr. Spohr: Yes, sir. Because of the floodplain, we could not use Claude
Miquelle's standard plans. The owners asked us to do this work. We said that we
could not tamper with his drawings without his permission. We have a letter from
Claude Miquelle giving us permission to revise his drawings.
Charles: There will be no entrance from the house into the lower level.
Mr. Spohr: No, sir. Absolutely not. There is no basement. It is in the flood-
plain. I think that plans say this, don't they, sir?
Charles : It says storage only, no habitable space.
ME. S2ohrr: The man has or would like to have a small boat and would like to put
t underneath there.
Charles: He is not submitting any plans for a dock?
Mr. Spohr: No, sir. Absolutely not, sir. I was waiting for this question. The
and right in front belongs to the conservation.
Pauline: That is a conservation easement.
Mr. Spohr: I thought it belongs to the conservation.
Pauline: No, it is a conservation easement. It belongs to fields Point Manufactur-
ing.
Mr. Spohr: I was wrong. I looked at the town maps quickly.
Charles: There is an easement which runs through there.
Mr. Spohr: There is an easement here for drainage. In other Lowns where we work,
they don 't like this business -- the drains off the road running into the marsh.
Pauline: We don't like them either.
Mr. Spohr: This is the plan that was approved. I didn't put it in.
Pauline: We know.
Charleas, Unfortunately, this was prgposed before the conservation commission had
anything to say about it.
Mr. Spohr: I think it is a beautiful development or whatever you want to call it.
This man is very careful. He is going to mark all the trees. He wants to keep
everything there except what has to go for the house and the sewer.
Pauline: I have no more questions.
