Neighborhood Conservation Districts <br /> What is a Neighborhood Conservation District? <br /> A Neighborhood Conservation District is an effective method for maintaining the scale and character of <br /> . <br /> established older neighborhoods.rhoods. It is,preferable to include some residents of the District on the Commission. Neighborhood <br /> Conservation Districts are effective at maintaining overall neighborhood character but they are not as <br /> effective at preservation as Local Historic Districts.
