Taylor Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Gottlieb at 7:20 p.m. Mashpee Town Hall, Waquoit Meeting Room MINUTES Monday, February 27, 2017 Regular Session: Motion made by Selectman Cotton to approve the minutes of Monday, February 27, 2017 as presented. Motion seconded by Selectman Sherman. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. Roll Call Vote: Selectman Gottlieb, yes Selectman Cahalane, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman Sherman, yes Opposed, none APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS Public Comment: None at this time. Public Hearing: FY 2018 Capital Improvement Program: The Board of Selectmen opened the Public Hearing on the proposed Capital Improvement Plan for Fiscal Year 2018. The Hearing notice was read into the record in accordance with posting procedures. Capital Improvement Program (CIP) members in attendance were; Rodney Collins, Andrew Gottlieb, Dawn Thayer, Mike Richardson, and Chuck Gasior. A breakdown of the total $812,167 capital appropriation was identified by Town Manager Rodney C. Collins who serves as Chairman of the CIP Committee. Funding for the FYI capital budget supports the continuation of the vehicle lease program under the Police Department and Department of Public Works. The capital appropriation to be funded with available Free Cash, the use of Ambulance Receipts, MCAT funding and the Recreation Revolving Fund also includes the purchase of a new ambulance, the replacement of DPW equipment which includes one vehicle purchase and the final payment for the Recreation Department passenger van. Technology upgrades and improvements at the Town Hall, the Fire Department and School Department will also be supported in the capital outlay.
