Kruzel: (continued) <br /> The intended closure of the Popponesset Inn will allow for deep cleaning in preparation for the <br /> 2017 season. Being no comment the Board motioned as follows; <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb, yes Selectman Cahalane, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes <br /> Selectman Sherman, yes Opposed, none <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to approve the request of New Seabury Properties, <br /> LLC, d/b/a Popponesset Inn, Paul M. Kruzel, Manager to close for deep cleaning and <br /> maintenance as referenced. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb, yes Selectman Cahalane, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes <br /> Selectman Sherman, yes Opposed, none <br /> Acceptance of Recommendation for Award of Contract for Reconstruction of Great River Boat <br /> Ramp, Catherine Laurent (DPW <br /> Catherine Laurent, Director of Public Works announced that bids were received on December 7, <br /> 2016 for the reconstruction of the Great River Boat Ramp. The project involves the removal of <br /> the existing ramp and dock/float system and construction of a new double ramp with a center <br /> dock/float system. It was noted the project has received an Order of Conditions from the <br /> Mashpee Conservation Commission. Other permitting includes the MEPA review, the 401 <br /> Water Quality Certificate, Chapter 91 and Army Corps of Engineers approvals which remain <br /> ongoing. <br /> It is the recommendation of the DPW Director to award a contract in the amount of$300,000 to <br /> SumCo Eco-Contracting LLC of Salem, MA conditional upon the Town receiving the necessary <br /> permits and/or approvals within 30 days of the date the bids were received or by January 6, 2017. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to award the contract for the Reconstruction of the <br /> Great River Boat Ramp to SumCo Eco-Contracting LLC in the amount of$300,000 as <br /> conditioned. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb, yes Selectman Cahalane, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes <br /> Selectman Sherman, yes Opposed, none <br />
