TOWN OF MASHPEE PLANNING BOARD
A meeting was held on June 7, 1972, at Mashpee Town Hail at 8:00 P.M.
Members in Attendance:
Earle Marsters, Chairman
Harold Collins
Joseph Delaney
Richardson Jonas
William Lehmann
Mr. Charles White submitted a preliminary plan of 8 lot sub-
divisions off Quinaquissett Road. The Board informed him that
his next plan must be prepared by a Registered Engineer and
Land Surveyor, and the items that were missing on his plan were
outlined.
Mr. Jeffery Fitch picked up the signed original plan for
Leo Houston's sub-division of 9 lots off Mashpee Neck Road. He
will forward another copy of the profile plans to the Board .
The Board signed the original of the definitive plan of
a 38 lot sub-division for Jonathan Fitch et al under Cluster
zoning, located between Mashpee Neck Road and Quaker Run Road.
A restrictive deed and the covenant were submitted to the Board.
An additional copy of the profile plans will be forwarded to the
Board. Mr. Fitch requested the lots on Mashpee Neck Road by
released at this time. However, the Board insisted on inspecting
the progress on the road construction prior to releasing these
lots.
Subsequent to signing the pian, the Board retracted the
approval of the sub-division as a result of the elimination
of Payne Road and Brown Terrace and Mr. Fitch was requested
to be at the next meeting to resolve this problem.
Mr. R. A. Jones and Mr. Hansford Brown appeared before
the Board to inquire about the status of access to the lots
fronting on Payne Road. The Board investigated the sub-
division of the Fitch' s and it appears that the access roads
referred to by Mr. Jones and Mr. Brown are being eliminated.
