TOWN OF MASHPEE PLANNING BOARD
A meeting was held on April 5, 1972, at Mashpee Town Hall
at 8:00 P.M.
Members in Attendance:
Earle Marsters, Chairman
Richardson Jonas
William Lehmann
Members Absent:
Joseph Delaney
Arthur Koch
A public hearing was held on the Conaumet Highlands Subdivision
owned by Mr. Nye and Mr. Dow. There was no objection. The Board
recommended that 18" berms be specified on the profile plans.
Mr. David Puopolo appeared to inquire about the possibility of
extending the Oakway Bay Estates Subdivision. The Board informed him
that the conditions in the existing subdivision that caused the previous
disapproval of the new subdivision would have to be corrected to the
satisfaction of the Board. it was also brought out that the zoning in
this area was changed last year to a minimum lot size of 22,500 square
feet, and that their subdivision would have to be revised to comply
with this requirement.
The history of their submission for the extension of their sub-
division is as follows:
7/1/70 Mr. Goodoak reviewed a tentative plan.
2/3/71 Mr. Nye submitted a preliminary plan.
3/3/71 Mr. Savery submitted the definitive plan.
4/7/71 Public hearing held -- much opposition by
residents -- Mr. Elliott' s presence was
requested at the next meeting.
4/21/71 Mr. Elliott did not appear. Letter forwarded
to him disapproving subdivision. See attached
letter.
