2 -
A public hearing was held on the proposed town meeting article
to rezone the area surrounding Mashpee Lake from R2 to R1. Nobody
appeared at the hearing to discuss this article, therefore, the board
decided to proceed with this rezoning and to submit it to the town
meeting for its action.
Mr. Richard Ferriera submitted a preliminary plan for Mr. Vincent
Porciellio covering 7.8.6 acres surrounding a Cranberry Bog adjacent
to Jehu Pond. It proposed cluster zoning. The board gave its tentative
approval subject to providing the necessary frontage for all lots on
a paved road. The board also stipulated that a topographic layout
with 2 foot profiles should be provided. A 20 foot right of way to
Jehu Pond is also to be provided.
Mr. Chris Burden of New Seabury Corporation picked up the signed
original for the extension of Shore Drive.
The public hearing for the subdivision off Gleneagle Drive, which
had been continued from the previous meeting was completed. Nobody
appeared in opposition. The road grade had been reduced as suggested
by the board, therefore the board indicated its approval.
Definitive plans were submitted for subdivisions on Morgan Circle
`. and Hunt Circle. The Hunt Circle profiles will be revised to show an
additional pair of leaching basins. Both profile plans will show
berms where required. A public hearing was scheduled for March 15.
The meeting adjourned at 10:45 P.M.
Respectfully submitted,
Earle Marsters, Chairman
