Seconded by Jack Jordan. Vote us 5-0. <br /> . Volunteer Assistant Deport May 2012 <br /> Lynne watemmn reviewed the Volunteer Assistant Report as submitted by Judith Gen e, <br /> Volunteer Assistant. Vir� McIntyre moved o accept the Volunteer Assistant deport <br /> of May 2012, seconded by Jack Jordan. Vote was unanimous 5-0 <br /> OLD SSSS <br /> None <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1. Appointments <br /> It was reported that Jeanne Mousse, Nina McIntyreand Mary Gaffney were <br /> reappointed by the Board of Selectmen as Council on Aging Members. This would take <br /> their terms to June 3 0,2015. <br /> . Election of Officers and 3. Chair Replacement <br /> Jack Jordan suggested deferring hese two items until a full board was present. <br /> Mary Oafey moved to defer these two items until the July meeting and to notify all <br /> board members that the Election of Officers and Chair Replacement will be on the July <br /> agenda. Seconded by Jack Jordan. Vote unanimous -o. <br /> M <br /> . Volunteer Rights <br /> May Gaffney asked what was the liability to the Council on Aging when they send a <br /> volunteer to a client who may have a criminal background. Can the Council do a <br /> background check on their clients or a CRI cheek. Ethically and legally what <br /> obligation does the Council have? Lynne and Jim noted they will be checking with the <br /> attorney. <br /> Mary Gaffney asked about the duty of confidentiality. Lynne stated this cones under <br /> protective services. Lynne and Jing are not licensed social workers but are concerned <br /> with the ethical issues. <br />
