Lynne said she would look into adding something at the bottom of the form. <br /> Also, she had considered having CRI reports done on people who want services. This <br /> will also have to be discussed with attorney. <br /> . volunteer Transportation <br /> Lynne Waterman noted that theme has been a declining number of people interested in <br /> driving. Where are a number of clients who have mental health problems. They don't <br /> keep their appointments,they call the drivers directly which they aren't suppose to do. <br /> She stated they are about having a separate transportation program instead and <br /> having Friendly visitors drive. Lynne and Jim will be discussing with the attorney. <br /> . Fit and Fun Expo <br /> Jinn Long explained the Council on Aging will be hosting a Fit and Fon Expo on July 10, <br /> 2012 from 12: o to 3:00. This fair would be similar to a health fair but drives toward <br /> wellness. 100 to 1 S o people are expected to attend. Private vendors will pay a fee of <br /> $75 and these funds VAll be used for food at the expo. Some of the participants will be <br /> private nutritionist,yoga,blood pressure,cholesterol,sight loss,ROL,Gentiva. The <br /> speaker will be Dr. Lowell, Chief Neurologist from Spaulding Rehab Center and he will <br /> be spewing on brain health. <br /> 7. 'gavel Show <br /> Jim Long announced the Senior Center will be hosting a Travel Show in August. An <br /> exhibition fee will be charged. The shove ill include safety when traveling, sidebar <br /> topics and side sernhim. <br /> Jinn also noted the discussion is ongoing regarding concerns about disability and travel. <br /> He is working with ADA on the problem and with the bus companies. One concern is <br /> when travel is offered for the disables,the buscopanie have to cut back on the number <br /> of seas which affects the price. <br /> Additional Topl s <br /> Jin Long announced that he was appointed as a Regional Representative to the Cape Cod <br /> Advisory Cottee. <br /> Adjourn <br /> Jack Jordan moved to adiourn the meefing, seconded by virgma McIntyre. Meeting <br /> adjourned at 9:45 a.m. <br />
