COUNCEL ON AGING BUTES <br /> OCTO R 17,2012 <br /> Present: Irving Goldberg, Jack Jordan, Jeanne Noussee, Virginia McIntyre, Jack Dorsey, ,f <br /> Norah McCormick and Jim Long, Council on Aging Director <br /> Absent: MariJo Dorney, Mary Gaffney. Arthur Eisenberg and Lynne Waterrnann, <br /> Outreach Coordinator <br /> Chairman Erving Goldberg opened the meeting at 8:3 5 a.m. <br /> APPROVAL of MMTES <br /> Motion: Jeanne Nousee moved to accept the Council on Aging Minutes of <br /> September 12, 2012, seconded by Jack Dorsey. Vote was unanimous. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT: None <br /> COMKUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE <br /> t. CT R"S REPORT <br /> Jim Long distributed his report for September 12, 2012. The Council members reviewed <br /> the report. Jinn highlighted several items_ September programs have started up again <br /> after summer vacation along with some new progmni, the most significant being the <br /> Neighborhood Yoga Prograrn in conjunction with the Recreation Program. Two new <br /> SSE volunteers were added in anticipation of Medicare open enrollment. A job <br /> description was developed for the 14 hour per week formula grant funded <br /> Activity/Coordinator Assistant which will provide support to the grant funded Activity <br /> Coordinator. A Dinner/Dance ance for Seniors will be held on October 20 from 5 to 8 put on <br /> by the Senior students from the Mashpee High School. <br /> Motion: Jack Jordan proved to accept the Director"s Report, seconded by Norah <br /> McCormick. Vote was unanimous. <br /> 2, TREASUREW S REPORT <br /> Jim Long distributed the'treasurer"s Report and reviewed the budget figures with the <br /> Council members. <br /> Motion: Jeanne Noussee moved to accept the Treasurees Report, seconded by <br /> Norah McCormick. 'Vote was unanimous. <br />
