Selectman Hanson agreed with Terry , <br /> but felt it was the responsibility of the Personnel Board . <br /> Selectman Thomas noted that any board that holds public hearings <br /> should have written minutes and this would rewire an attending <br /> secretary , rather than just tape recorded minutes . <br /> Vern brought to the attention of the Selectmen , the <br /> fact that that the money is just not there . The balance - <br /> of the account is not enough to pay the secretaries wages , <br /> till the town meeting . <br /> Fred requested a time frame of action to be taken, In this- <br /> matter '. The Selectmen agreed to send a recommendation to the <br /> Personnel. Board and expressed that it was- necessary to go <br /> through proper channels . <br /> Prior to adjourning the Finance Committee meeting , <br /> Chairman Blythe instructed the Board Secretary to send a memo <br /> to the Personnel Board, expressing the Finance Committee ' s <br /> opinion . The memo stated that salary figures for Board <br /> Secretary wages were out-of-line , particularly for committees <br /> having no legal. status <br /> The meeting adjourned at 9 p . m . r- <br /> Next scheduled meeting , March 4 , 1986 at 6 p . m . <br /> Board Secretary <br />
