The Library Building Nee&Committee request for $3200 will be covered by the Selectmens wage and Expense Account. The Whitprinter for the Building Inspector's office will be approved and will be paid by receipts from the copier. Natural Resource/Animal Control Officer - Fred Blythe suggested changing the name of NRO on the omnibus Article to Animal 'Control officer as most voters recognize that officer as the animal control officer. firs. Thomas disagreed as the job description and salary were changed several gears ago. she suggested-chaLng the position to part time or seasonal and covered by the police department wh n the officer was not working. The committee disagreed. After discussing both positions it was agreed to change the name on the omnibus to Animal Control oFficer at a salary of Grade 15, Step 1, $16,.526 for 53 weeks (position would change under PAP). The article for a new position would be for the Conservation OFficer at a salary of $18,410 or $22,2.55 which includes benefits, and expenses of $2000 to include vehicle expense. The vehicle requested in an article would be used by the Animal Control oFficer. It was agreed to address non money article on May 6 and reconvene the Annual Town Meeting on May 20. This would allow sufficient time to review the articles if the exemption question fails. The May 6 warrant would include an explanation of the articles and a 2 exemption fact sheet; the warrant for money articles would be picked up by voters after the meeting adjourns. The next meeting will be held on Monday, April 8 to discuss the Special and Annual Town Meeting warrants. Joyce Nowell, Secretary
