The committee disagreed. After discussing both positions it was agreed <br /> to change the name on the omnibus to Animal Control oFficer at a salary of Grade 15, <br /> Step 1, $16,.526 for 53 weeks (position would change under PAP). The article for a <br /> new position would be for the Conservation OFficer at a salary of $18,410 or $22,2.55 <br /> which includes benefits, and expenses of $2000 to include vehicle expense. The vehicle <br /> requested in an article would be used by the Animal Control oFficer. <br /> It was agreed to address non money article on May 6 and reconvene the Annual Town <br /> Meeting on May 20. This would allow sufficient time to review the articles if the <br /> exemption question fails. The May 6 warrant would include an explanation of the <br /> articles and a 2 exemption fact sheet; the warrant for money articles would be picked <br /> up by voters after the meeting adjourns. <br /> The next meeting will be held on Monday, April 8 to discuss the Special and Annual <br /> Town Meeting warrants. <br /> Joyce Nowell, Secretary <br />
