4/23/85 2 <br /> Selectmen Jean Thomas spore on the landfill contract issue. The figure for the contract <br /> ill be available April 29, but was not available when the warrant was printed in <br /> the newspaper, which means that the contract will not be funded. The dollar figure <br /> cannot be inserted at the town meting. - Mr. Joseph Reardon, Town Counsel, was looking <br /> into ways to fund the contract. A Special Town Meeting will probably be held in July <br /> to fund the landfill. R <br /> The Police Department requested a -transfer from the REserve Fund to their Expense <br /> Account in the amount of $1002.51. An emergency kennel was built to house the department's <br /> dog. The dog severely damaged a nelghbor's dog and the Board of Selectmen determined <br /> that the kennel be built to house the police dog. However, the police officer in <br /> charge of the dog, refused to move the dog to this kennel. The committee refused <br /> the request. <br /> The committee recommended the following special Town Meeting articles - <br /> I. Transfer funds to the Advertising ACcount - $5000• <br /> . Transfer funds to the Legal and Engineering ACcount - $353000. <br /> . Transfer $4000 to the Board Secretary Wage Account. <br /> . Transfer $1000 to the Museum Expense Account. <br /> 5.
