Ms. Wray expressed interest in seeing if <br /> the club's advisor, Ms. Purdy, would be interested in serving as a representative on the Committee. <br /> Ms. Vaughn also suggested submitting an article to the Mashpec High School Ledger, which is <br /> included in 4,000 copies of the Enterprise and is released the first Friday of every month, <br /> No Name Calling Day-January 27, 2010 <br /> Selectmen have voted that January 27 be known as No Name Calling Day in Mashpee, Jane Emery <br /> contacted Ms. Farren requesting support from the Committee for the day. <br /> Ethics/Conflict of Interest and Open Meeting Law <br /> The Selectmen's office is exploring the possibility of hosting an evening workshop. Ms. Farren noted <br /> that Committee members will need to sign off on the summary of the Conflict of Interest Law. Ms. <br /> Farren shared some changes that will occur as of July 2010 such as the 48 hour minimum to post <br /> detailed agendas, specific reasons to enter into Executive Session and the requirement that <br /> documentation presented at meetings be attached to the minutes. <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> Ms, Vaughn announced that she has been coordinating Mashpee's Special Olympics event which will <br /> occur on May 28, 2010. Ms. Vaughn stated that the event will be dedicated to Eunice Shriver and <br /> plans to invite the Shriver and Kennedy families as well as a number of political representatives. <br /> Students will be managing committees for the event and were each responsible for identifying $50 <br /> sponsorships for the event. Ms. Farren questioned the ways in which Affirmative Action and the ADA <br /> Committee could be involved with the event. Ms. Farren plans to speak with Myriam Zuber to inquire <br /> about a way to tie in the three groups for the event. <br /> MEETING ADJOURNMENT: <br /> Committee members were in agreement that meetings should continue to be held on the e Tuesday of <br /> each month, but change the meeting time to Spm. Members received copies of next year's calendar of <br /> meeting dates. <br /> Motion made and seconded to adjourn the meeting at 6:50 p.m. All voted unanimously. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Jendifer M.
