8 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> August 18, 2003 <br /> Department of Public Worlds: <br /> EM Vehicle Gift: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to place the above topic on the <br /> Selectmen's agenda. <br /> Mo iPon seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -0. <br /> Mr. Taylor recommended the Board consider accepting a donation of <br /> vehicles from GSI, a sub-company of the Chrysler Corporation as a gift <br /> to the community. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to grant permission to attain <br /> vehicles from m GENVChr ler at no cost to the Tovm. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters, <br /> VOTE; Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Request to Adjust Taxi Fees--J.P. Transportation, Inc.: <br /> Correspondence was received from J.P. Transportation, Inc. dated August <br /> , 2003 requesting the Selectmen schedule a hearing on the current taxi <br /> town rates. It was noted that the last increase was effective in January <br /> 2001. <br /> The matter was taken under advisement at this time. <br /> Board of Selectmen—Leicester MA: <br /> Communication was received from the Selectmen of the Town of <br /> ti Leicester dated May 5, 2003 relative to the delays of financial data coming <br /> from the gree branches of State government. The matter was also taken <br /> under advisement at this tinne. <br />
