Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> August 18, 2003 <br /> OLD BUSINESS. <br /> October Town Meeting Warrant. <br /> Items preciously placed on hold were considered by the Board of <br /> Selectmen. <br /> Board of Assessors—Transfer of Funds to Revaluation Account <br /> $ o, o <br /> David Bailey, Director of Assessing discussed the transfer of funds as <br /> proposed from the overlay surplus account for expenses and consultants <br /> related to the Mate mandated triennial revaluation of real and personal <br /> property. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to release the hold, and place the <br /> Board of Assessors article on the October Town Meeting warrant. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VO T Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Open Space Committee—Land Purchases <br /> Conservation language to be removed <br /> `Articles approved for October Town Meetin warrant. <br /> Animal Control Officer—Amend Proposed Bylaw/Kennel Regulations <br /> *Article Held for additional clarification, <br /> NEWBUSINESS: <br /> lie est for Part-tine TeMporary Appointment of water s s Assistants: <br /> The Harbormaster and Shellfish Constable were present to request the <br /> Selectmen continue the appointments of two waterways Assistants for <br /> assistance with the scallop season, removal of navigation aids, and <br /> shellfish seeding in November. Mile Scirpoli was also recommended for <br /> the temporary appointment. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to continue the appointments of <br /> Stuart Paasche and John Tobias as requested, and appoint Mike <br /> Scirpoli for same as part-time temporary waterways Assistant. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Mar ter . <br /> vo'r Unanimous. 5-0, <br />
