1 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> August 1 , 2003 <br /> NEW BUSINESS! <br /> Recommendation for Bid Rejection—f lash ee Senior Center <br /> Construction: <br /> Due to Bost overrides, the Senior Center Building Committee voted to <br /> recommend the Selectmen reject all bids submitted for the new Senior <br /> Center building. If approved, the project is anticipated to be re-bid after <br /> Labor Day. It was noted that several items have been reduced from the <br /> scope in an effort to conform to budget constraints. <br /> Motion made by Selectman C h l ne to reject all bids submitted for <br /> the Senior Center in the best interest of the community. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to re-bid for the Senior Center <br /> construction project as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE; Unanimous. - , <br /> Board of Selectmen Policies& Procedures: <br /> Amendment—TeLnpoga Sign Placements: <br /> The Board of Selectmen reviewed Policy No. 037, Temporary Sign <br /> Placement which governs the temporary signage in public right of ways <br /> and on the Mashpee Rotary. <br /> The following amendments were incorporated into Policy No. ; <br /> Signs will only be for non-profit organizations and illegal signs will be <br /> immediately removed and disposed of at the Town landfill. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve the Temporary Sign <br /> Placement Policy No. 37 as amended. <br /> Nation seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> vT Unanimous. -0. <br />
