CORRESPONDENCE
OTHER BUSINESS
Mr. Willard inquired whether Old Barnstable and Falmouth Road would be one project or two. The
Chair confirmed that they attempted to promote an option of developing one parcel or both at the BOS
meeting. Mr, Isbitz stated that Mashpee should reserve the ability for a prospective developer
responding to an RFP to submit a proposal for one or the other or both combined to encourage broader
participation. There was agreement that it would make sense to offer AIB together or just A or just B,
It was unclear whether it would need to be addressed at Town Meeting or whether the BOS could
address it on their own. Mr. Isbitz clarified that Town Meeting would need to vote to transfer the land,
which could be completed at a later date. There was discussion as to whether the RFP included text,
allowing an AIB development or just A or just B but it was believed that it did not exist in the current
draft RFP from Assistant Town Manager Tom Mayo. Selectman Cotton indicated that he would
follow up on the status of the RFP.
MEETING ADJOURNMENT
The next meeting will be September 1 at 6:30 p.m.
Mr. "Willard made a motion to adjourn.
